I work the voice very acoustically to discover your most natural healthy sound. By doing this we can also discover qualities in your voice that are unique to you. Qualities that make your voice original, different and sellable no matter what style you sing.

- "Hi! Are you a singer? What kind of music do you like to sing? Do you songwrite? Are you professional or want to be? Do you sing for pleasure? I evaluate your singing voice, what kind of music you sing, and what's going to be the best for you as a singer. I spent years in my training traveling to LA, Chicago, New York, Nashville to work and coach with voice professionals who were in the business doing it and learning from the best. The Vocal Studio lessons are personalized. I don’t have only one method. I have studied and practiced and applied many many different methods and discover that they are unique to the person. I hear you sing and determine from there what suits your voice and personality. By working with the sound naturally, we discover what different qualities you may have in your voice and most importantly that you enjoy your singing and aren't frustrated about not expressing yourself.
I work with all styles or music, all ages, and all levels of musical experience; recording artists – grammy nominated and grammy awarded artists, singers who are up and coming, singers who sing lullabies to their children, singers who solo at weddings or church, and singers who are making a living with their music.
- The Vocal Studio sessions are held in a state-of-the art recording studio in Maui (analog and digital/old-school-new schooll). I am an ASCAP songwriter and accomplished pianist and keyboard player. I love songwriting with my students too.
- The Vocal Studio is a one-stop-place. Gone are the days of being discovered or being told that you have to have been born with a “gifted” talent. You can be successful by working what you have and discovering your unique talents and not loose yourself in the process.
Do I need to be singing original music or covers? When do I need a photo or do I even need a photo.. or video a demo pr release on my own? You will discover that singing is a lifestyle. At times it may feel like you are running a small business. There are qualities and attitudes you must adopt not just to be financially successful but also be personally, creatively and spiriturally in tact.
